Umaid Bhawan Palace

Umaid Bhawan Castle, situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, is one of the world’s biggest confidential homes. A piece of the castle is overseen by Taj Inns. It is named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, granddad of the current proprietor, Gaj Singh. The castle has 347 rooms and is the central home of the previous Jodhpur imperial family. The earth shattering for the groundworks of the structure was done on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the development work was finished in 1943.
