The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph situated in Jodhpur, in the Indian province of Rajasthan. It was worked by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his dad, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and fills in as the incineration ground for the illustrious Rajput group of Marwar.
The cenotaph is worked out of complicatedly cut sheets of marble. These sheets are incredibly slim and cleaned so they produce a warm gleam when enlightened by the Sun.
The cenotaph’s grounds highlight cut gazebos, a layered nursery, and a little lake. There are three different cenotaphs in the grounds. The cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh shows pictures of the rulers and Maharajas of Jodhpur
